RESEARCH//STRATEGY//BRAND IDENTITY//COPYWRITING//DESIGN//CREATIVE DIRECTION
During the final 15 weeks of senior year, split into segments including strategy, design, iteration, development and pitch, my team and I were given the task to develop a fully-baked business model; conducting thorough consumer research and identifying a promising white space in the market. While working in a multidisciplinary group of 3 hand-selected by our professor, we were challenged to think outside the box and create every relevant touchpoint to bring the concept to life. Between validating our idea with a compelling and realistic product prototype, creating and refining a narrative voice to give the brand a meaningful reason for being, and throwing ourselves into every aspect of creating a successful company, my two teammates and I became the founders of Snø; a luxury ski apparel rental company. We ultimately presented the concept at the end of the course to a panel of business leaders across Colorado and received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback and interest. The course’s unique overall mission allowed us to see our finished product and customer reactions, before making any risky commitments. Although Snø doesn’t currently exist, my team and I are always open to the possibility of revolutionizing the ski apparel rental industry if the opportunity ever presents itself in the future.
